  1889 Victorian home restoration

  Historic restoration of an 1889 two-story Victorian home requiring a whole-house lift to replace failing unreinforced brick footings with an engineered concrete foundation. Wake Construction restored the curved wrap-around porch back to 1889 period specifications, updated mechanical systems, and built custom stucco fencing.

  Detached custom art studio building constructed from foundation to roof with high-ceiling timber framing and expansive windows for natural daylight. Wake Construction handled site prep, slab foundation pour, framing, French doors, insulation, and interior drywall.

  Complete structural reconstruction of a residential property after severe fire damage consumed roof rafters and wall framing. Wake Construction demolished charred timber, shored undamaged sections, replaced structural roof trusses, and rewired the entire home.

  Comprehensive exterior remodel and structural foundation repair requiring a house lift at the rear of the residence to pour a new reinforced concrete foundation. Wake Construction replaced exterior plumbing, routed plumbing vents inside wall cavities, repaired dry-rot framing, added a covered front porch, and built a new garage.

  Major structural kitchen renovation replacing a 1978 closed-off layout and repairing a severely cracked concrete slab foundation. Wake Construction removed the separating dining partition, stabilized the foundation, built custom natural-maple solid-wood cabinetry, and constructed a center island with built-in wine storage.

  Complete kitchen and adjoining living area renovation under the direct supervision of Gary Wake. Wake Construction removed an obsolete brick chimney and hearth, lifted and leveled the foundation, built solid-wood cabinetry, installed granite countertops, and set white subway tile backsplash.

  Total whole-house structural restoration stripping the residential building down to bare studs and lifting the structure to pour a new concrete foundation. Wake Construction reframed the subfloor across living areas, replaced exterior and interior wall studs, rewired the entire house, and completed three new bathrooms, kitchen, and stucco exterior.
